COMPUTERS: HOW CAN IT BE?

 One of the most difficult topics to summarize! I was wandering here and there how to put in a few simple words what a computer is and how it works. It is just impossible. However, I wanted to share with you some notes about it: computers are in the end the best machine ever constructed by any human being. The one that can mirror human intelligence itself. One can materialize what is a simple ethereal idea in our mind. One that can understand complexity even when we do not realize quite well what it is and that simplifies for us to do more with less effort, just reading, storing, and processing data. In one word: we were not in the mood of adding and subtracting, it came Pascal and mechanized the maths and now we can do via computers all we can imagine!

Computers are a symphony of energy. Pulses. A series of brightness and shadows dancing inside the Matrix. The blink of the microchips kneading data networks for us to understand reality in its very complex layers. We always wanted more. We will not stop. And computers will not let us stop. 

External references as sounds and images. Abstract objects as numbers and words. All comprised as bits. It is just amazing! 

I feel I could not fully understand the 8-bit architecture topic. Anyone have something to say? I will appreciate some guidance here!
